The Char Broil M2 brings together affordability, spacious cooking area, and 4 burner control, for a well rounded cooking experience.Starting with the 4 stainless steel burners, the M2 rates at 48,000 BTUs for the primary cooking area and is complimented by a 12,000 BTU flush mounted sideburner, both started with an easy to use electronic ignitiion system.The large cooking area with 516 square inches of primary space and 149 square inches of secondary space, is more than ample for entertaining guests with your best recipes.As an upgrade, the cooking surface is composed of porcelain coated cast iron grates which conduct heat very well to help get the sear lines on steaks etc.The warming rack also has a porcelain coating for greater longevity and is often best used for lightly toasting buns/bread, or simply keeping food off of the main area so that items requiring different cooking times and temperatures may all be served hot at the same time.The outside of the grill features a stainless steel control panel and fascias, stainless steel insert lid with temp. gauge, and full front panel, resulting in a clean full scale overall look.As with all grills, we recommend keeping the firebox clean to help avoid flare up as well as using a grill cover to protect your investment.

Weber 4411001 Spirit E-210 Propane Grill, Black Review

(More customer reviews)I rented a house in Sedona, Arizona for a month where they had a gas grill. Friends visited and grilled up some outrageous steaks and salmon. I had a little Weber Smokey Joe at home that I had not used for years. The charcoal system became too dirty and too much trouble. I never purchased a gas grill as I thought that really great tasting food could not be created on a gas grill.

When I returned home from my trip I went to Target, Walmart and Home Depot shopping for grills. Home Depot had a full-featured, large stainless steel grill on sale. Orginal price $369 - Sale price $199. The floor unit was the only one remaining unit in all the Phoenix stores. I won't mention the brand name. I purchased the grill and arranged for friends to pickup the following day as it was too big to load into my SUV. I knew it was poorly constructed but the price was too tempting.

When I got home that evening I started reading reviews on the grill that I had just purchased. Nearly all of them were negative. I saw the Webers on the floor at Home Depot. The quality was CLEARLY superior. However, they were also considerably more expensive. I decided that I wanted a pleasant grilling experience. I could not picture having friends over for dinner and having burner difficulties.

I returned to Home Depot early the next morning. canceled the original purchase and purchased the Weber Spirit E-210. I had Home Depot assemble the grill for me.

Cooking on a gas grill is a either a science or art. If you don't know how to do it, the results will be poor. I watched a gas grilling video on [...] by an executive chef from Morton's Steak House. [...]
This video got me going in the right direction. The key points are high heat preheat and closed cover cooking. You can copy and paste the link to the video into your browser.

This grill heats up to 600 degrees quickly. Everything about it is quality, quality. There is a wonderful disposable drip pan system with foil drip pans. The grill plates are heavy steel meaning you will get even heating over all of your meats. Some other reviews mention this unit as having too small a cooking area. Obviously they are cooking for soccer teams. In my opinion, this grill is big enough for any family. There is no side burner or rotisserie although an attachment can be purchased. I have a Showtime rotisserie so that wasn't a big deal for me.

I love this grill. It is truly one of the quality items that I own.

(More customer reviews)I've wanted a new grill for my lake cottage for several years.It had to be of high quality & also versatile because it is our primary cooking area during the summer months.It had to be large enough to handle a crowd yet easy enough to use for just the wife & myself.The cottage is on an island, so reliability was extremely important - I didn't need to be shacking about for parts or God forbid, returning the unit.

This piece is quality! Quality! Quality!It is a TANK! If this unit was a SUV - it would be a Hummer! The controls are easy to use & precise. The cooking is even with no chance of flare-ups.I have grilled, done a rotisserie, and even baked a jumbo chicken in it - it is a dream.

I was going to spend almost twice as much until my wife put in her 2 cents.I read the reviews and this unit consistently came up on the best of the best under $1500.I can not imagine what one would want or expect a grill to do that has a price tag of $2K? -- But they're out there. No, it isn't the biggest, but I cooked for over 25 people at an all day picnic and there were no issues.No it doesn't have a fancy radiant heater - who really needs that?

I am simply a frugal New England Yankee (and Red Sox fan!) that insists on getting my money's worth.You WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED if you choose this grill.

(More customer reviews)I bought this thing from Lowes, paid $149+ tax (on sale) and i can't stop using it, the actual metal grill on it is alittle odd, it's about 3/8in shorter than the area it fits in so when you try to scrub & scrap the grills they bang back & forth.i love it!

Charbroil Designer Series Zeta 4 burner Review
